Capterra ★★★★★Useful, but I prefer other similar tools
I had a good experience with them. Nevertheless, I wouldn't pay for it. Price is very similar to Ahrefs/SemRush and I would rather invest in those. I would consider it if the tool would be 30%-40% cheaper. Pros: Most of the features are useful. Nothing to say about that. Keyword tracking, reporting, competitors analysis. All is useful either for freelance SEO consultants and agencies either for On-house SEO consultants. What I like the most about Moz if the Domain Authority metric. Cons: I'm not a big fan of their UX, specially in the beginning, I found very hard to find the feature I was looking for. Also, the price is similar to other similar tools that have more and better features (Ahrefs or SemRush).

Capterra ★★★★★Moz Pro is the best
We have used Moz Pro since last 6 months to improve SEO and it is worth it. We largely use the platform to research new keywords and grow traffic. The tool is very accurate when it comes to finding new keywords and their relevant volumes. Pros: - Moz is one such tool that can help you research thousands of long tail keywords for a topic- Search volume suggested by Moz Pro is very accurate- It can help you do keyword research for any language- Also, search volume for shown basis location is also very accurate Cons: Moz Pro is one such expensive tool that everyone cannot afford. They need to have some cheap plans for smaller companies.

Capterra ★★★★★My Review Moz Pro
Moz became our backlink tools. It is affordable and offers great value. Moz is a great tool for SEO auditing and reporting. The insights I gain from the tool are extremely useful and helped me achieve high rankings on search engine results pages. Moz is a great tool for tracking 'nofollow' links and backlink analysis Pros: MoxPro is my first choice for site and page ranking. They seem more reliable than other sites. It is a great tool to find opportunities to track any link and check for errors, It also helps me to perform SEO audits. It is an integral part of any company's marketing toolkit. Cons: It can sometimes seem overwhelming to a new user with so many features. A user guide would be helpful. Moz will prepare you for a 30-minute consultation. However, these consultations can take two weeks or more, so you will have to figure everything out yourself. Moz could be so much better if it allowed you to suggest keywords and links. We have all the tools, and despite this small detail Moz pro is a great tool for Marketing

Capterra ★★★★★Useful for Tracking Keyword Progression over Time
I can say it has definitely given me some real data points and structure to monitor keyword improvements on our website. Takes a lot of the guesswork out of SEO, or at least lets you see the results of your guesswork. Pros: The keyword position monitoring feature is what I like most about Moz. You can select different keywords and then see how they change over time, and how changes you make to your site affect your keyword position. They keyword explorer tool is also good for makes sure you don't get stuck focusing on the same old keywords and neglecting new/different/shifting terms & terminology. Cons: If you aren't a fully time professional SEO expert, Moz might be a big too much at first. It was a bit daunting and time consuming to get setup, but I think it also depends on how complex your website is and how diverse your product offerings are. I would say that it took me a good 2 or even 3 months to feel totally comfortable using Moz - but I did start getting value on a high level within the first week.

Capterra ★★★★★Best SEO tool for find law difficult keywords
Moz Pro has accurate results. Moz pro is far better than other keyword research tools. It can give all the information about the keyword. Also, It has 30 days free trial. Moz is the best keyword research tool I ever found. Pros: I use Moz pro before writing any of my articles. The results are 100% accurate. My favourite feature is the SERP Analysis. It shows complete details of the Google first page according to the keyword. Also, it shows the difficulty of the keyword using graphs. It easy to understand. Moz Pro has a feature to find keywords by searching the website URL. So you can get all keyword of that page. Also, there has a filter to find law difficulty keyword. That helps to identify the best keywords. Also, it shows Page authority and Domain authority of websites. So it helps me to check the status of my website or any other websites. Cons: At first it hard to find law difficulty keyword. because there didn't have enough tutorials to learn about Moz pro. So I have to do self-studies. So if there has some tutorials especially video tutorials it will help to find best keywords.

Capterra ★★★★★Moz Local is a MUST for any small business owner
I've had a great experience with Moz Local over the past 4 years. Nothing negative to say, their syndication and reporting and noting of duplicates is great and a must have for any small business owner. Pros: This is insanely easy to setup and use and the reporting and information it provides a small business owner is great. I work with clients that range from 200+ locations down to 1 location and this software is perfect for small business owners. The reporting is quick and easy and clients love being able to login and see most everything in 2-3 clicks. Cons: I wish they could automate some of their process for bigger clients, but the reason they are so cost friendly is because you have to do "some" manual work to clean up duplicates.

Capterra ★★★★★Reliable site-wide scanning
Pros: The reports of the different classes of errors that Moz gives make it very easy to show to clients progress over time of fixing up older websites. Where otherwise you would have to communicate simply how many things you have solved so far like 404s and canonical tag errors, instead you can show them the graph and it speaks volumes for you. Cons: Site-wide scans are helpful but they are limited in each payment plan so it would have been nice to be able to designate a staging site that you can test on where you can run site scans for free. Instead, you feel a pressure not to waste the scans for the month which doesn't feel too good and you have to always do finalized testing in a production environment.

Capterra ★★★★★One of a best SEO tool with awesome learning resources
Moz-Pro not only provides you with SEO software but also tools and training platform. It provides guaranteed results that are to be trusted. Its features are also vast and important for the users' needs. Pros: $2 Cons: Cons of Moz-Pro. 1. Subscription is needed. Although it has free tools, you need to subscribe so that you can access the other tools that aren’t free. Tools such as campaign crawl test, on page grader and rank tracker can only be accessed by the subscribed users and are not available without subscription. 2. It is very expensive. Moz-Pro user requires much capital when it comes to subscribing to get important tools that aren’t available without subscription. You are also required to pay an extra amount of money if your operations are large since the campaigns or keywords are limited.

Capterra ★★★★★MOZ Pro - a powerful tool for SEO
Moz Pro packages the entire software into a beautiful UX/UI with awesome data visualization, which is extremely helpful for me to look through the data without feeling frustrated on 'what am I really looking at?' Moz Chrome Extension is a great tool for getting things like Page Rank and SERP standing, which helps me identify how my competition is doing and prospecting new leads. Would only recommend Moz Pro to the seasoned professional who understands SEO. Pros: Moz Pro is a comprehensive SEO tool for marketers like myself, and it packs a ton of features like keyword explorer and backlink checker that are an absolute must for crafting any digital marketing strategy. I'm probably in these two tool sets the most, and I love Moz Pro's Keyword explorer more than any other SEO software I've tried. The Keyword explorer helps you find both short and long-tail keywords that are profitable in your desired niche, and helps round out your keyword strategy with lucrative or hidden keywords that you may not have known about before. This helps you craft blog posts and put those keywords you just found through Moz Pro to gain new traffic through organic (or paid) search. Cons: Moz Pro and (SEO) requires a lot of patience and a bit of knowledge in what SEO, keywords, SERP really is before you get the maximum benefits of Moz Pro. I wouldn't recommend the Pro version to anyone before they try out Moz standard version or at least do a bit of reading in SEO. It took me about a solid 2-3 months of really putting Moz Pro to the test before I understood everything.

Capterra ★★★★★Best SEO tool on the market.
Pros: I've used a lot of SEO tools out there and still am, but the guys at MOZ have a big team that focuses on everything that you need to get your SEO up to par and then beyond. Features a plethora of tools to review your website with weekly rescans to make sure that your website is operating as well as it can. With help of all the tools I managed to get my domain authority from 31 to 59 in about 3 years. Still ways from a 100, but we wouldn't be where we are if it wasn't for Moz. Cons: Over the past 3 years that I've been using it, they've removed some tools that I did use and more tools are soon to be removed once again. In their defense, they do try to provide a substitute but for the steep price that they charge, if they send you an email saying "hey, we just removed this tool from our system, but if you still want it, you can get it for a discounted price of XYZ", no matter what XYZ stands for it feels like it's XYZ too much.

Capterra ★★★★★Useful for all the major SEO tasks related to research
Pros: I discovered MOZ maybe 5 years ago and I have to say it is one of the most powerful tools within the SEO landscape. It is quite easy to find the best kewywords for SEO niches and track the evolution in its dashboard. One of their products, Open Site Explorer, provides more information regarding incoming links than the rest of the competitors. Cons: More and more, they are moving features from free version to paid version and the paid version is also becoming more expensive. The value for money is not so good as it used to be.

Capterra ★★★★★Keep me up to date with best SEO practices and marketing trends.
I always like to stay up to date on the latest marketing trends, especially if they are going to help my business. I love that I can have Moz Pro as a resource for me at all times. I don't always have time to follow every single new trend, but with Moz Pro, I get to stay up to date and know what is working and what I should stay away from. It is also easy to use, so I don't have to worry about spending too much time trying to figure it out. Pros: Moz is an all-in-one SEO tool that can help me with keyword discovery, content research, link building, and more. Moz Pro has a ton of features but is also really affordable. I especially love the keyword explorer tool which helps me find new keyword opportunities that I can use to create high-converting content. I also really like the link explorer tool because it shows me where my competitor's links are coming from. It's a great way to find a link-building strategy for my site. Cons: Moz Pro is best for SEO and marketing. I like every feature provided by Moz Pro.

Capterra ★★★★★MOZ is a Good SEO Tool with Lot's of Improvement Needed
I started my SEO journey with the help of some free tools in the market. MOZ is one of them. So I have so many pleasant memories with my earlier SEO campaigns where I used MOZ as a primary research tool. But by the time, market is change. We seo professionals need huge data to research and at this point MOZ made me very upset. They need to develop a lot of features in terms of audit/research. Pros: Moz is good for some SEO Professionals who are trying to find competitors backlinks, audit the website, keywords and can check the keywords ranks as well. Moz has it's very own parameter to measure the strength of a webpage. They named it, DA = Domain Authority & PA = Page Authority. It helps to find low competitive keywords by using their free browser extension. Cons: Moz has not the robust features like the other SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush. It is a OK type tool for me. That's why I recently reduced using this tool.

Capterra ★★★★★An SEOs bread and butter - but has been struggling since the migrated their server
An essential tool for an SEO. A few niggly bits but it remains my weapon of choice for SEO tasks because of a nice set of tools and a clean, clutter-free UI. Pros: The clean, clutter-free UX and the SEO tools such as page optimisation scores and rankings etc. are excellent. The monthly report setup is easy and straight forward and the crawls are easy to execute. A good package overall. A big shoutout to the customer support team - [SENSITIVE CONTENT] is a joy to interact with and is always ready to help whenever there is an issue. The technical SEO issues Moz identifies are excellent and reliable. Our technical SEO audits would not be possible without Moz. Cons: The weekly updates of Search Visibility are not ideal. Ranking data can sometimes take more than a week to populate which is not ideal when you are on a deadline finishing an audit. Also, since their migrated their servers a couple of months or so ago, their crawls and data population have been flaky with crawls getting stuck etc. Most recently, the PDF report generation has been an issue which has not been ideal. Moz is our primary tool and we count on its reliability. Here's hoping the software stabilises again, soon. And yes - Moz's rogerbot cannot crawl Javascript sites which is not ideal. But then, I am not sure if any SEO tool other than ScreamingFrog can crawl Javascript sites. Here is hoping this feature gets added soon!

Capterra ★★★★★Best of the Bunch
The problem is two fold. We need to know how to be smartest with our content strategy, and we also need to present what we're doing and how we're doing it. Moz has made both of those things easier. Pros: There's a ton of tools for Keyword research, planning, and strategy. Moz is the easiest to use and the most powerful from a strategy and planning perspective. It gives you all the tools you need in a way that's easy to understand, and easy to explain to known analysts. Cons: It would be nice if it was more plug-and-play for presentations. Other than that, it's really simple to use and that's honestly my ONLY complaint.

Capterra ★★★★★Good website for SEO resources
Moz Pro is a helpful resource for everyone who wants to optimize their online presence and visibility, but it is no quick-fix. It is something you have to make a best practice every day. Pros: Moz Pro offers a lot of great resources for SEO. They have features like keyword filters that can give suggestions on which keywords to use for optimal visibility, ideas on how to circulate existing content, and more. There are still some resources and functions I haven't looked into, but overall a good software to use. Cons: The website can seem overwhelming at first, and they could do better visually. You will definitely dedicate a lot of time - especially in the beginning - to figure out where you can find what and what makes sense for your businesses.

Capterra ★★★★★An Excellent SEO Tool with a Few Drawbacks
Overall, this is a robust SEO tool. I have used SEM rush as well - while both have their pros and cons, I find the Moz interface much more user friendly and the insights and dashboards easily actionable. If the bulk operations regarding keywords and URLs can be streamlined further, this tool will be even more useful for digital marketers. Pros: The insights are actionable. The crawl speed is reasonably fast, and the custom metrics like Domain Authority are great tools. The competitor benchmarking is great, too. Custom reports, once setup - are great. Excellent tool for spotting site crawl issues. Cons: Many bulk operations need to be carried out manually. For instance, I had to spend hours to actually remove the tracked and mapped keywords I wanted to remove/update from my campaign. One would think this would be an easy task, but no. One has to look for them manually and delete/update. Setting up custom reports can be tricky as well.

Capterra ★★★★★MOZ is a great product, even with Rand Fishkin having moved on.
I like using MOZ with SEMRush and other tools. They compliment each other. I recommend it to other people, especially those new to SEO and looking for something user friendly and affordable that is the real deal versus some of the newer SEO tools like UberSuggest which I think still have a ways to go. Pros: I like that it's very user friendly. Compared to other tools like SEMRush, I find it to be more "fun" and more intuitive to search for keywords and such. It's also a more affordable product depending on the level you choose. Cons: It doesn't do it all. Compared to SEMRush, there are some features missing.

Capterra ★★★★★A ranking and reporting tool from the experts in SEO themselves!
Been using Moz website for years in terms of their blogs and reading updates in the SEO world, however only recently have upgraded to Pro for the reporting. Pros: Customized reports and rankings in one place, easy to generate info on traffic, keyword movements and individual URL rankings for any website/project. The interface is modern and colored to help differentiate between data sets and as an SEO company, having the powerful Moz brand behind your reporting doesn't hurt! I really like the "featured snippets" integration, as most other reporting tools will only show basic rich results. Cons: Takes a long time to setup, but well worth it in the end as the reporting is comprehensive and seems very accurate when cross checking with SERPs and other tools.

Capterra ★★★★★A great high-level SEO platform for Marketing Executives
For over a year I have run side-by-side comparisons of both SEM and Moz. I have run reports on my clients' websites, used the platform for new-business purposes, and have used Moz extensively for keyword research. On all these fronts Moz excelled. I would happily recommend it to any CMO/Marketing Director-level person who's trying to build a strategy. But if you're a small agency trying to figure out which subscription to keep, it might be SEM Rush only for the ability to drill down deeper. I personally didn't enjoy using SEM Rush compared to Moz. Moz gave me information with a minimal of annoyance. Moz is built for the big picture. Between SEM Rush and Moz? Moz will make you feel like a genious. Pros: Moz has a really lovely and user-friendly interface that makes it easy for me to pull great-looking reports for clients and for myself. Moz natively generates just the right amount of detail -- not too much or too little -- to make it a great selling tool for Account Directors or in-house Marketing Directors. And it's intuitive enough that you can step away from it for a month or two and go back in and find everything you need in just a few minutes. That said, this platform also offers up lots of detail. I've definitely done some deep-dive keyword research using Moz alongside SEM Rush and been very pleased with what Mox came back with. Cons: The complaint I would make against Moz is the same one I would make against SEM Rush: These are tools that seem to be made for IT/web developers more than marketing directors. It's hard to get a CMO-level report out of either of them. That said, I would definitely say Moz is more "client-friendly." Honestly, SEM Rush and Moz excel at different things, and they're both expensive. If push comes to shove, you may choose SEM Rush for its breadth of data, but then berate yourself for losing the user-friendliness of Moz.

Capterra ★★★★★My Very First Crawling App, great experience
The first time I started working in digital marketing, I had to use this tool and it was very useful to start learning the fundamentals of web crawling and understand the different common metrics of the digital environment. Pros: A very friendly design, keyword monthly tracking, extensive competition analysis according to searches. The Chrome extension is very useful for quick views of the pages you browse through. The best thing that it has without a doubt is the extensive guide both of the characteristics of the tool itself, and of the market in which it lives. Cons: You have to be very specific with the keywords that are added to the projects, because otherwise you get metrics that can be very different from the real ones, for better and for worse. At first it was an accessible tool for medium-sized agencies, but its price increased more than I expected.

Capterra ★★★★★An essential collection of tools for the SEO pro
We've found a lot of value in Moz Pro. It's improved our SEO performance, and that means more visitors, more customers, and more revenue. It pays for itself. Pros: It offers us so much value as we improve our SEO: - It tells us about issues with our site e.g. missing alt text, title text is too long, or images aren't compressed. - It shows us keyword opportunities - how hard is it to rank for certain terms? How does our site rank in comparison to competitors? - There's a really good community around Moz. It's easy to talk to one of their support agents and there's a forum as well. Cons: It costs quite a lot of money, and it's charged monthly. So if you don't use it for a couple of months, you'll have lost a fair bit of money. But if you use it, you'll definitely get value for your money.

Capterra ★★★★★Good SEO Tool
If you know what you're doing when it comes to SEO, then Moz might be a great option. For me, it was helpful, but a bit overpriced considering that I wasn't sure what to do with all the information that was presented. Pros: I used Moz in a previous role for about two months. I found it useful mostly for the purposes of keyword research and competitor intelligence. The user interface was good, modern, and pretty easy to navigate which was nice. Cons: As someone who hasn't done a lot of SEO stuff in the past, it's really easy to get into Moz, but knowing what to do with the information that you get out of the system is another matter. It's interesting because while the UI is simple and makes it easy to navigate around the app, this isn't an indication that the app is for an SEO novice - you do still need to have some experience or knowledge to be able to use Moz effectively. I also think that it's somewhat overpriced considering there are other tools that do a lot more for the same or less cost.

Capterra ★★★★★Powerful SEO tool
I really like it and think this would be beneficial if you're working in SEO at all. While that's not the focus area of my business, I've found it helpful both personally and for client work. Moz is not super technical so it's easy to get up to speed and using it quickly. Pros: The best parts are their Open Site Explorer and Keyword Explorer. I use it pretty frequently to check for backlinks on client sites, and once you're needing it pretty often it only makes sense to pay for Moz Pro. Keyword Explorer is super helpful for improving relevance and structure of website copy. Cons: Definitely an emphasis on SEO over PPC or other functionality, but for me, this wasn't a big deal as that is my preference anyway.

Their tools are incredibly useful and easy to understand. Whenever you do not know how to use something, their customer service team is incredible with helping and they get back to you right away. I have been in marketing for many years and I would highly suggest marketers and business owners to use this tool. Capterra ★★★★★Quintessential SEO Tool
Its a great tool for SEO - you cant do without it. Pros: Moz (aka SEOMoz) is a great tool for SEO work, its user-friendly interface, fantastic features and thought leadership. I love the Keyword research competitor backlink analysis, tracking your rankings over a period of time, SEO audits that help you optimize your pages and finding linking opportunities are really a boon to work with efficiently. The reports & their customization is a good feature which helps you make custom reports & add comments. Cons: This is definitely not for a novice - there is a lot of subject matter you need to know for using the tools, but once you know the subject matter the user interface is easy to navigate & get what you want. The site sometimes seems slow & non-responsive - but I am told it's because it's crunching truckloads of data which makes it look slow. Another thing that I have come across is that for some sites that data seems dated & not fresh - wish its updated frequently.

Pros: I use Moz's Keyword Explorer to refine what articles I write. It has helped me write articles that get hundreds of unique reads a day and convert to leads and paying users. I also enjoy the weekly reports, and they are especially useful if recently launched your website or are constantly adding new pages. Cons: I don't like having to wait a whole week for reports to update and run. Especially since I am only maintaining one site at a time. Moz allows you to crawl multiple sites a week, but only publishes one report per site a week. I would love to be able to use the multiple sites crawls per week on the same site.

Pros: Lots of functions and features. I use it mostly for generating metrics and the toolbar extension in my browser makes it easy for me to see key stats about any website that I'm on - such as title tags, DA,PA and inbound links. It's also good for generating optimisation recommendations for the website. It's really easy to use and doesn't require much training or reading up to get started with this. Cons: Not many cons for this tool. It does everything you want it to with a nice user experience. I guess the only downside could be that if you have limited knowledge or are a beginner the amount of information could be a bit overwhelming for you.

Capterra ★★★★★A great resource for inbound marketers
As an inbound marketer, Moz makes it easy for me to bring in more leads through Google search. A good chunk of our leads come from landing pages with forms, and the higher those pages rank from the keywords we enter into Moz, the more likely we are to get more marketing qualified leads in the door. It helps make my job easier. Pros: I love how easy it is to search for and analyze potential keywords, and then easily add them in and monitor the results and movement of how pages with that keyword are ranking. The analytics and results that Moz provides are very detailed and helpful. It's easy to spend an hour every week making sure we're as optimized as possible. Cons: These seems like something silly to complain about, but I almost feel like Moz has too many great features. They're all useful features, but it took me a while to figure out all of its functionality when we first got started. Once I figured it out though, it's been a lifesaver.

Capterra ★★★★★A must-have SEO tool
Pros: Moz includes the most important features you expect from an online SEO tool. Backlink analysis, keyword tracker, domain analysis, onsite and offsite SEO, organic traffic analysis, and competitor analysis (just SEO). That's why I call is a must-have app. I've used many other SEO apps (such as SEMRush) and the majority of them are helpful but only for your research stage. After that, you will end up paying for features that you won't be using that much. Plus, Moz pricing has been same for a few years now. Cons: There is a section for "insights" to help users understand a few actionable tasks to improve their website SEO score but at this point, Moz's "insights" is premature. Reporting is not a decent feature in Moz. You will find some options for PDF exports but most important charts are not supported and you can only export CSV files and then make similar charts yourself.

Pros: Moz offers a lot of features in it's SEO package. Comparing domain authority to competitors helps you understand how your site is ranking to others. The Keyword Explorer has been very helpful. It allows us to see how a keyword ranks in general and also how it has been performing on the root domain. The site crawler report has helped us discover critical crawler issues and not allow our rank to decline. Cons: It would be nice to add more than 3 competitors to compare how we are ranking against them for domain authority.

Capterra ★★★★★Great Inbound Marketing Software
I am pretty satisfied with it. They also offer great marketing content on their blog. When I contacted the support they replied always pretty fast and detailed. Pros: I used a lot of different inbound marketing tools, but I think MOZ is the one with the best value for money. I use it now already over 5 years and they added new powerful features on a regular basis. Cons: Their "weekness" (if you want to search for one) is the offpage part. But here they already improved a lot with the updated link explorer last year.

Capterra ★★★★★Moz has your local listing covered
Pros: Moz local is very simple to use and can be learned quickly for beginners. It is essential for any local business to have a web presence and Moz local will help local business owners accomplish just that. Simply spend some time entering in business specific information and you can then have moz populate all the major local citations for you. Cons: There are no cons at this time that I can think of. I believe moz local to be a very critical element in the grand scheme of building a local presence. You could go through each listing individually but this takes hours of valuable time. Moz local expedites that process.

Capterra ★★★★★Moz has been a key tool for our SEO needs
Pros: Moz is the swiss army knife of SEO tools. From page analysis with their on page grader to their rank tracker, we uncover so many things about our site. Personally, I enjoy using their domain authority ranking as well as the ability to view key metrics against competitors. As we continue to work on our back links its always a great thing to see how many links we have as well as page opportunities with our key word. Cons: We're not able to track the top links for our competitors like ahrefs. Which does present some challenges in evaluating our own top links.

Capterra ★★★★★Moz Pro is one of the best website and SEO analyzers on the market
Moz Pro provides detailed insights into your website's performance in organic search results by tracking keyword rankings, link metrics, domain authority scores, and more. Pros: This suite of tools includes the Moz Bar, Link Explorer, and On-Page Grader. The Moz Bar, in particular, is crucial: it provides powerful insights into the performance of your website and helps you identify potential opportunities. Cons: While it's not a cheap service, the basic version has enough functions to meet most users' needs. For those who need more robust tools and features, there are several more powerful alternatives on the market.

Capterra ★★★★★The Tool for SEO Keyword and Analysis
Overall Moz Pro is a great and must-have tool, especially if you are an SEO Person. Try the free version before you want to make a purchase. Pros: Go for Moz Pro If you want to be the SEO guy. It offers so many features that I have been using for years. The best is the keyword analysis, which helps to find out your competitor's keywords and the website ranking. There is also a link explorer, on-page optimization, site crawl, etc. Cons: There are so much keyword data and graphs that sometimes it may be confusing to analyze the volume and priority scores.

Capterra ★★★★★One stop shop for SEO campaigns
Moz is an exceptional tool, even in a very competitive field. Its ideal for a newer SEO practitioner, providing high quality insights in the easiest possible way to understand. Pros: Honestly the standout things about Moz are not the technical features (which are excellent), but how accessible the tool is. Each feature is so well signposted and explained that even someone new to SEO can make sense of it. Its such a rare quality among SEO tools. Cons: The software it self has very few limitation, but you do pay a premium price. Not all companies can stretch to this budget level.

Capterra ★★★★★Good software but not worth it for small shop
I was able to track our progress on how well we ranked with various keywords. I also enjoyed getting access to the expert community. Pros: Moz let me generate attractive reports, the main one was tracking keywords and the effectiveness of my SEO efforts over time. Access to the community is also a big benefit. Cons: Price. This is really a function of how much I used the software. I definitely didn't use it to its full potential, and I may go back to it one day. But right now we're too small and not getting the full benefit.

Capterra ★★★★★For SEO, Moz does it all
On-page recommendations, keyword research, competitor analysis, rank trackings. Pros: Moz is able to track all 5 of my sites, which is a better bang for the buck than other tools. It has a robust amount of features including keyword research, page recommendations, and many others. Cons: For those who are most interested in keyword research, Moz can only do 300 as compared to other softwares. Pricing is a bit high for it, but it's comparable. The UI is a tad confusing too.

Capterra ★★★★★Best SEO and analytics tool for marketers
By leveraging Moz Pro, we have increased and scaled our organic search listings which is helping us drive more and more qualified leads. We couldn't be happier with our investment in Moz! Pros: Moz has already been a leader in SEO technology, and our advertising agency is now licensing the software to improve our keyword research and organic listings. By utilizing Moz, we are now ranking near the top for our most important keyword terms. Cons: Like any new software platform, it takes time to become efficient and effective using the tools. Capterra ★★★★★Great functionality, could improve visual aspect and UX
Overall, it's been a great tool to supplement and lead over Google Keywords. It's been useful for discovering new keywords and help our organization understand its ranking online and understand the keyword ranking system. It does take a bit of learning and testing to see all of Moz Pro's capabilities, but once you work on it, you can expand and use it to your advantage. Pros: Moz Pro has some great features like keywords and their rankings that help you choose the best case scenario for your website's SEO. It's also quite inexpensive. It also does some great auditing and reporting by reporting anything that can be improved within the website. I also enjoy the backlinks tool in Moz. Cons: Again, the interface could use some work. For visual learners, it is not the best for laying out all the information. Navigation could be improved in this sense as well. You definitely need to work a bit to learn all of its capabilities.

The website explorer feature alone is worth the price of the software, but it also provides keyword research, backlink information, ranking reports, and more. Great software. Pros: Moz Pro gives you insights into websites that you can't get from other products or Google Analytics. The backlink functionality is one of a kind. Capterra ★★★★★The Tool I Wish I Could Afford to Keep
For my larger clients MOZ provides a great way to explain and showcase the work we are doing. The one caveat is however that it is often so rich featured that it's simply more than many people would need. Pros: There is little doubt in my mind that when it comes to SEO the former SEO Moz, now plain old Moz, is still the industry leader. In terms of the insights and analytics it has everything you need, probably too much for some people, but if you are implementing client SEO it is the best information you can share. Cons: The cost. I use MOZ when I have clients willing to pay for it, but the chances that an individual or even a smaller bespoke agency like my own can afford to use it regularly are slim. The fact is that this a great tool but so complex you may not need it all, and other, less expensive tools can be used to fill in the gaps.

Capterra ★★★★★I have signed up for a free 30 day trial of their premium package. It has proven useful.
I used this for keyword research. Pros: It provided what I was looking for. I needed to conduct keyword research. I liked this software because it is better to use than many of the others and because of who the provider is, I trusted their sources. Cons: The price. To be fair, they offer a lot of other features which I have not utilized, so I can't speak about everything, but the price for the keyword research feature is pretty hefty and I don't think I can afford it anytime soon.

Pros: Without much knowledge about SEO MOZ simplifies the essentials of improving your website by correcting optimization errors that will help your search rankings dramatically. Cons: It's a bit technical at first if you don't have an experience with SEO, but once you get to know the terminology and how the software works it becomes relatively easy to understand.

Capterra ★★★★★Useful
Overall, I find it helpful, and even though I would love a more logical interface, I recommend it for your website. Pros: What I like about Moz is that you can get a lot of meaningful insights for more than just one website. Things like that can really help you boos your site's performance, even without paid ads. Cons: What I would like to be differently, is the user experience on the platform, starting at the first step, after you sign in. You have to choose to see insights on Moz Pro, even if you clearly want to use that - that is why you paid for it.

Capterra ★★★★★Feature heavy SEO tool
Pros: The features of this SEO tool are probably the most robust of anything else out there that I've used. The keyword selection and matching tools work great. It uncovered many, many words and phrases Cons: The set-up was pretty intensive. In retrospect I probably should have leaned more heavily on customer support or training videos to get on-boarded. It's also slightly disappointing that some of the reports are not available until a week or more after you load up the keywords.

Tracking of customer search engine optimization is quite easy in Moz. It allows us to deliver great value to our customers. Pros: Generates great reports. Generally easy to use. Capterra ★★★★★Moz is good but it can be better.
As a Digital Marketing manager, I have to explore various tools and pick the best one based on the features provided and also taking into consideration the price. Moz is still a very good tool with good UI/UX however there are a lot of alternatives to this. Pros: The biggest asset for Moz is easily its community, you add a question there and you will receive a variety of choices in no time. Having said that, Moz is a good tool for SEO and the it the way it represents data is cool and easily readable. Cons: If you have been in SEO for sometime there is nothing in particular to dislike about MOZ because all most all the other tools match up to it. However subscription is something that needs to be there for the tools to function at its full potential.

Long time (happy) customer. They seem to have nailed the rank tracking and their index is average compared to others like ahrefs. Really shines when it comes to competitor analysis in the organix space. Absolutely essential for organic and content audits. really wish they'd provide more tools though as the organic channel is becoming more and more opaque as Google does too. Pros: The knowledge base for Moz Pro is massive and it gives you access to so much information. You can analyze your own content, SEO, website, and more against your competitors. It gives you a leg up to see where you are in comparison and then you can adjust your strategy to succeed. Cons: I don't think their dashboard is designed very well and it can be a bit confusing at times. I think they should put more time into the aesthetics of the site just as much as the features.

Pros: What I liked most is how much extensive information Moz Pro gives you. The interface is super easy to use and so is setting up your campaigns. One of the best features has to be the Moz Bar plugin that you can download for Google Chrome. Cons: I dont really have any cons for this software. Capterra ★★★★★Great SEO tool by a leading company
Always happy with their team and their content but their tool is really limited and currently a bit expensive. Pros: MOZ has been always an amazing resource for learning SEO and for being up to date with the latest news. Cons: The main issue with MOZ-PRO is that they have not innovated as much as Ahrefs.com or similar and they have fallen a bit behind them. The features they offer are pretty limited and the price they have does not justify their features.

Capterra ★★★★★Top SEO tool
Pros: Moz is a near-perfect solution for both SEO experts and "casual". It provides you with a detailed look at the keywords used on any site page as well as the overall site's performance in different categories. Also, Moz community is just a great source of the SEO-related articles and guide - definitely check it out! Cons: Moz is a paid only service. I have little issue with that, but a free plan with only the basic functionality (akin to SimilarWeb) would be a nice option.

The biggest thing Moz has going is its name. It earned credibility for being around for so long. The accuracy of these tools is notoriously not fail-proof. Capterra ★★★★★Very solid option for All-in-One Seo management in 2025
We used Moz Pro for a year after coming across from SE Ranking when they increased their subscription fees substantially. Moz Pro offered a very good experience with an intuitive UI and wide range of features and was a decent alternative to other similarly priced tools. Ultimately though, we preferred SE Ranking for the price bracket. Pros: Great UI with a wide range of tools to improve SEO, responsive and easy to setup and track keywords. Cheaper price than the other top tools. Cons: Sometimes the serp analysis data and rankings are not as accurate as your industry leaders like ahrefs and semrush. Also for the price there are other options that may better suit your needs.

Capterra ★★★★★Moz is good SEO software but there are now better options available
Moz used to be the industry-leading SEO software when Rand Fishkin was the face of the company. But after he left, Moz has kind of been passed with Ahrefs and SEMRush who offer more advanced features, a better UI, and cheaper prices. Pros: I liked how Moz was able to detect technical SEO issues that I had with my website, and it picked up some additional issues that weren't found with Ahrefs. The site audit feature is also very good. Cons: The data doesn't seem to be as accurate as with Ahrefs or SEMRush. The interface is outdated and clunky. I don't like the 'Moz Spam Score' metric, which is not used by any other SEO software or Google. It appears to be an outdated metric and is only updated every 3-6 months - in the world of fast-pasted SEO, that is too infrequent for my preference. I also don't like that I reached out to customer support and just received a generic copy-paste response that didn't address my query at all.

Capterra ★★★★★Solid agency-based SEO tool
We have the best results using Moz for small "needy" clients that benefit from the slew of automated reports to keep them in the know. It is also, to the best of my knowledge, one of the earliest mainstream SEO tools, so the platform in general is very well tested, tweaked, and stable. Pros: Moz has been around for a very long time, and the thing that sets it aside against other SEO tools is the depth and stability of agency-based features and functionality. It has very good automated reports that make it very easy to keep your clients abreast, along with a variety of crawl schedules you can setup that will send alerts for things like 404 errors in broken links to other pages. I particularly love this for websites with an emphasis on blogging that might link to outside websites that can change or remove pages without you knowing. Cons: It lacks all sense of anything regarding lead gen goals or reporting, which many competing tools do offer. I also find it to be less "deep" than several other key SEO tools in its ability to compare things like page rank and targeted keywords due to having a smaller database. It's much more focused on on-site SEO health as opposed to the "big picture."

Capterra ★★★★★Using MOZ in a world of SEO tools
Pros: Moz is a great SEO tracking tool for beginners and intermediates, though more advanced SEO experts may want to look elsewhere. The best features of MOZ include: 1) Open Site Explorer - This allows you to monitor and assess backlinks from your site and other competitors to monitor their quality. 2) Keyword Research - one of MOZ's key features is keyword performance and tracking as well as research. This feature works great for keyword tracking. 3) MOZBar - The ability to add a MOZ toolbar to any browser to track metrics on the fly is one of the best features of MOZ. Domain Authority, Page Authority and backlink quality can all be assessed without opening the MOZ website. 4) Site Review - While not the most comprehensive, MOZ's site review gives you key pointers on things that you can do to improve your sites SEO and some good SEO practices. This is helpful if you need to review several sites to see what their SEO score is. Cons: My biggest con with MOZ, is that it has fallen behind other SEO tools in terms of crawl depth, SEMRUSH for example crawls more pages than MOZ and it is just a keyword research tool. As a result, as an SEO you may find the metrics you are getting are not as detailed as what you would find on other tools.

Capterra ★★★★★Suite of SEO tools for people with web strategy and optimization needs.
Updated keywords for traffic acquisition and content creation, fixed crawl issues thanks to list and suggestions, created an SEO strategy for 1-2 person marketing department that doesn't take much time to monitor and update. Pros: It provided general reporting very easily and helps you dig deeper into your specific needs. Also provides suggested fixes or solutions to problems and lack of data so you're never stuck or don't know what the next step is. Cons: It's segmented enough that finding the right tool isn't always evident. That being said I was using it as a means to an SEO habit for our websites so in that regard it was more of a learning curve.

Capterra ★★★★★Awesome SEO Tool Especially for Local Search
Pros: Best feature is the local search tool where you can see how your business is listed in 10 to 20 places at once. You can then click the links to the online listings and correct any errors easily to make them all match. This is necessary for search engine optimization: the business name address, phone number, and information matches everywhere online exactly the same. Normally it would be a longer process because you would have to do Google searches to find all this information spread out all over the web. Cons: They have fewer features than SEMrush their competitor: including competitive research on your competitors AdWords ads, display ads, and cost of ads.

Capterra ★★★★★Provides solid SEO monitoring but is falling behind competitors.
This system monitors keyword performance, provides several useful SEO metrics, and also makes those metrics available in a browser toolbar. I would say MOZ is easily in the top two SEO tools available. Pros: MOZ is a solid SEO monitoring tool that we will likely continue to use. It provides keyword tracking but takes it a step further in a couple of ways. The system provides a metric called Search Visibility. This score can either be applied to all of the keywords that are being tracked or just the keywords within a user controlled category. So this helps us understand how the site is performing but also individual product categories. We are also able to see how three competitors compare. The system is junk in, junk out. So if you don't track the right keywords, then you aren't going to get good information. But if used appropriately, you likely won't find a better system for the money. Cons: As of the Summer of 2017, the company has fallen behind some of its competitors. Not to the point that we are going to make a switch. But we do have smaller subscriptions to their competitors to take advantage of all systems. MOZ has really fallen behind in two ways: Domain Authority and Backlinks. Domain Authority is a metric used to gauge the overall strength of a website. It gets updated semi frequently and MOZ has made bad updates before. There are better metrics that gauge the likelihood the site will rank. But we still use DA in combination with those other metrics from other companies. I do think DA does a good job of putting websites into different buckets. But if two sites are within 5-7 points, it is really almost a wash. The second area is the number of backlinks the system detects. In most instances, we have seen other backlink checkers find twice as many backlinks. Again, we use all available backlink checkers. But MOZ isn't leading the industry here.

I've used Moz across several roles in the last 4 years and found it to be very useful. My favourite tool from Moz has to be Open Site Explorer, which is great for getting a quick overview of the authority of a website, with data to back this up which mainly comes from backlink profile and social shares. This tools allows me to dig into my backlinks, checking the authority at domain level & page level, along with a spam score which is useful when looking to identify low quality links. it can also be used to compare link metrics with other websites, which is great for discovering new links. I have to say, I've never been a huge fan of using Moz for SEO campaigns, as a lot of the suggestions that were being made to optimise my pages were very basic. However, it looks like they have made a lot of changes since I last used it, providing more of a dashboard approach which is good for getting an overview of a website. Pros: Access to Mos's suit of tools to help with the main aspects of online marketing Great for getting a snapshot of website performance Good for identifying new opportunities for links & Keywords OSE is a great tool which provides a snapshot of your link profile with many great features Nice custom reports Access to a number of discounts or exclusive free trials through Moz's 'Perks' Cons: OSE doesn't discover as many links as some of the other SEO tools that I use

Capterra ★★★★★Good in Identifying Website Issues
It is solving the issue if doing backlink analysis. It's PA DA and Spam Score checking feature in one click is still the most beneficial thing in its extension. Also checking if the website gives do follow or no follow link is easy through extension. Pros: What I like best about Moz Pro is its website keyword rank tracking tool, which is more akin to the rankings that we track on Google. It identifies website issues as they occur. Its interaction with the web analytics tool is rather simple when compared to similar software on the market. Cons: It logs out after switching off the pc which is quite annoying something. Needs to be fixed. Otherwise features are amazing.

Capterra ★★★★★Great tool but needs better reporting
Pros: I have been a Moz user for close to 10 years and I can't imagine a time when I wouldn't use it. The ease of setting it up and getting the information makes it one of the most user-friendly tools on the market. Compared to other SEO tools, they have the most modern UI, which is extremely important to me. Cons: When it comes to reporting, that's where I switch to SEMrush. As much as they have tried to improve the reporting functionality, I find it much easier to report on position changes and especially rank changes in specific geo segments.

Capterra ★★★★★My Experience With MOZ Pro
The most important feature that an SEO professional cannot live without is DA and PA, it always helps to track results of the efforts. Backlink Analyzer is really helpful to analyze backlinks to disavow toxic backlinks that can harm website in a way or other. All-in-all we use it to measure effects our SEO efforts and the overall health of our websites. Pros: Moz offers multiple tools to make the lives of SEO professionals easier. It calculates metrics (DA and PA) to see the ranking strength of a website. In addition to that, it offers a SERP Rank Tracker to tool to check website rankings for specific keywords against competitors', a Keyword Tracker for getting keyword ideas, a Backlinks Analyzer to analyze backlink profiles and identify toxic links, an SEO Auditor to audit a website to figure out gapes and flaws in technical SEO, and a Link Builder to build good quality links in a few clicks. Cons: Their customer support is not that good. A tool to analyze competition does not provide accurate data sometimes. Some critical tools, such as Citation Builder and Reputation Manager, are missing from the Moz Local tool. Moz Local does not offer a free trial either.

Capterra ★★★★★Moz Pro is no longer cool, but still has a lot to offer
Moz is the company that developed Moz Pro. Moz Pro is a suite of tools that help you manage your on-site SEO, link building, keyword research and rank tracking. I use it essentially for keyword difficulty analysis and for its Chrome extension, for other tasks I rely more on other SEO tools. I consider it a tool that can be very useful, even if it is not as popular as it used to be in the SEO world. I would recommend to those who are linked to the SEO world to give it another chance, Moz Pro may surprise you. Pros: For me one of the most powerful features of Moz Pro is its keyword analysis tool. It can surprise. It throws up terms that don't appear in other tools, as well as offering one of the most reliable difficulty indicators on the market. Cons: The backlink tool is not excellent, not even close to the market leader. Also its DA indicator, once a great indicator, is now almost worthless because it is very manipulable. Overall, Moz Pro has lost its luster. I think it is a matter of fashion, it is no longer seen as the cool object of other times, now that position has been taken by others. It happens a lot in the software world and causes us to lose sight of good tools like this one.

Capterra ★★★★★Moz is a good tool, but it's not quite 'great' due to a few problems
While Mozpro is something i'd really like to like as a Seattle native, but it's not something i actually used in practice even with my company provided license. I use their training and webinars but not the tool as Semrush and Ahrefs is superior Pros: Moz has just about everything you could need to run a SEO business or just do SEO for your own website. With good support articles, help section, and support they know what they're doing and want your site to succeed. Cons: Moz, in my own experience compared to other software, consistently gave different results for things like rank and volume. This was terrible when i was using multiple services at once to double check work. The other issue is the design layout is not easy to use nor intuitive.

Capterra ★★★★★No longer an industry leader, but still a solid product
Moz Pro helps us with Local SEO, keyword tracking (for specific locations which is awesome), backlink analysis, reporting, and technical site crawls. I utilize the community Q&A to bounce questions off of other experts as well. Pros: Having used many SEO softwares and Digital Marketing Suites, my favorite thing about Moz is its approach to data. The team at Moz is meticulous in producing accurate and responsible data within their tool. Domain Authority (along with the MozBar) are incredibly helpful in gauging a site's ability to rank. I love their keyword tracker - it's really easy to use. Since its most recent update, Moz's link explorer is now one of the best and boasts one of the largest link databases in the industry. Last but not least, the Moz community is incredible. The Q&A is great and high quality, really helpful. Cons: I don't necessarily dislike anything about Moz (I do think the user interface could be better), but in general almost every one of their tools has a superior option out there. SEMRush has far better keyword and topical research tools, Screaming Frog performs a better crawl, Majestic (subjectively) has better link data, and Ahrefs has better reports (in my opinion). I also think since seemingly changing who they do citation management through, their Local SEO tool is not what it should be.

Capterra ★★★★★I am a HUGE Fan of MOZ & Moz Local
Pros: - MOZ probably has one of the best support teams on the internet in the SEO industry. (Huge props to this team. They are always there, always answering questions!) - Very easy tool to use - and they recently updated the interface a bit, making it easier to understand what's happening and what needs to be fixed. - The tools search through different directories to find where your business is located/not located and if there are any problems with your NAP. - Minimal learning curve. Cons: - In comparison to other programs, like Yext or SEMRush new tool, this program feels a bit weak/limited. At times, I wish this tool could do MORE. - Can't respond to reviews on different platforms. - The tool is separate from their SEO tool - MOZPro. - Can get costly, quickly.

Capterra ★★★★★Great SEO Tool for Small Teams/Clients
Solid SEO product for the price. Pros: The software is very intuitive and easy to use and includes all of the basic features you could want in an SEO tool—keyword tracking (the core functionality), backlink explorer, and a handy keyword research tool. Moz is also incredibly affordable compared to more enterprise solutions. Their training and support team is wonderful and they offer tons of great FREE resources on SEO training, best practices, etc. Cons: That being said, Moz is not an 'enterprise' level solution. I've worked with Moz for an internal team and on the agency side, and I've worked with a few other solutions as well. If you work with large sites/data sets or manage multiple clients, I've found better luck with true enterprise products.

Capterra ★★★★★Powerful but flawed
As the person on our team tasked with optimizing our website and content for search, I have gotten a lot of use out of Moz. It's generally a good tool for accomplishing the basics, which for me means doing the day-to-day of SEO-informed content marketing, such as keyword research, campaign tracking, some link-building, etc. I hear that there are some pricier alternatives that work better in specific areas, but as a decently priced option that does everything pretty well, Moz is a good choice. I've gotten great results in boosting our site's performance in my time using it. Pros: I quite enjoy using Moz most of the time. It does a lot of different tasks quite well, including keyword research, SERPs ranking monitoring, backlink checking, etc. For budding SEOs on teams with the budget, it's a useful tool to get started with. I currently use it daily at work, and I find it works great for my main use for it, being tracking rankings both daily and as part of ongoing campaigns to increase our company's standing in Google search. Cons: My main gripe with this software is that it seems features are often struggling to work correctly. Rank tracker in particular has been a source of frustration, with the feature just not working at all for weeks. While it's not strictly necessary to monitor the day-by-day ranking fluctuation of pages against specific keywords, it's something that Moz's rank tracker is supposed to enable you to do, so the fact that it doesn't work consistently is quite annoying.

Capterra ★★★★★Moz Pro Doesn't Stand Up Compared to the Competition.
MozPro is definitely a good tool to have in your arsenal, but I'd recommend using this one only as a supplement to the more robust tools out there. Pros: Keyword ranking and search visibility are key factors, and MozPro's focus on these does it justice. The Chrome extension is also nice - so when I'm perusing competitor sites, I can do quick (virtually instantaneous) research on their sites compared to ours. The weekly crawls and updates are also good insights to see how our SEO is performing. Cons: It's nice that Moz Pro focuses completely on SEO, but one of its disadvantages is that it doesn't have the full tool suite that its competitors have (like social media analysis and PPC analysis included). In today's world, focusing purely on SEO doesn't cut it anymore - not when everyone else is doing this PLUS other things! The way data is displayed in MozPro is very confusing at the outset - so while the concepts themselves are easy to understand, the data visualization in Moz isn't simple. There's a good learning curve associated with it. Why MozPro displays the same data sets in different ways, I'll never understand! Finally, it is expensive!

Capterra ★★★★★Makes Keyword Research a Breeze
Overall, I really like using Moz. I mostly use it for keyword research, but I'm just starting to use some of the other features like the Rank Tracker and creating campaigns to monitor. I'm excited to get to use these more! Pros: The biggest feature I use and like is the keyword research tool. It's easy to use as you search keywords you can add them to a specific keyword list to download later. I also like that it gives you an overview of search volume and difficulty so you can see at a glance if you have too many keywords that are too low in difficulty score, too high, etc. and need to balance it out more. Cons: I think the competitor analysis of keyword research is harder to do on Moz. With Moz you can see the domain authority of your company compared to competitors and their link strategies, but don't get as much insight into what keywords competitors are ranking for.

Capterra ★★★★★Good SEO Tracking
Pros: I really like how this software has helped my company track keywords and check out the quality of backlinks. For our use, looking at what our competitors are doing and how we are ranking against them has been the most positive. Not having an SEO background and being self taught, MOZ has been useful for us to get information that we can interpret ... basically their dashboard and layout is intuitive and gives good descriptions as to what all the information relates to. For the price it has been overall a good investment for our company. Cons: The cons are probably on me and my lack of knowledge, but at times it does feel like there are falling behind the industry. That being said, SEO changes so quickly that I can imagine its hard to keep up with at the rate that it changes.

Capterra ★★★★★User friendly search tool
Easy reporting and search data that's easy to share with non SEOs Pros: - Easy to navigate UI, much less intimidating than SEMrush - Customizable reports - The "are questions" filter in the keyword explorer is amazing for finding featured rich snippet opportunities - Easy way to track my website's presence in search - Always coming out with new features and functionalities. Overall, I love this product and, when I started my now job, insisted that we get a subscription. Cons: My SEO friends and I go back and forth on this, but we have a hunch that Moz's data -- for keyword volume at least -- is way more conservative (and possibly less accurate than) SEMrush. To be honest, I usually use SEMrush for search volume estimates, but Moz for comparative analysis / tracking our position in search.

Capterra ★★★★★Overall pretty happy with using MozPro. You do need to have a solid understanding of SEO basics.
Helps identify areas of our website that need to be optimized for SEO. Also helps us benchmark against our competition. Also very useful for tracking backlinks to our website. Pros: Relatively easy to set up and use the platform. Their site crawl feature is great at identifying issues that need to be resolved. They provide great tips on what each tip means and what impact it will have. Like any tool you need to spend time to set it up properly. It's a very powerful tool once the right foundation is in place. Cons: Their onboarding isn't great. I've tried to get a new team member to go through their new account onboarding & they tried to charge for providing this training which almost made me cancel our plan.

Capterra ★★★★★One of the Best SEO Tools on the Market
Competitive data for clients that is hard to track elsewhere, specifically for links. Pros: Moz has a very user friendly interface. It is easy to navigate, to save groups of research, and provides fantastic competitive analysis on backlinks. The keyword research tool is more accurate than Adwords Keyword Planner and a great starting point for long tail terms. Cons: While easy to navigate, some of the tools can be hard to understand. I typically start my keyword research process with moz, but to find the holy grail of long tail keywords, I'll move to another tool. I also wish Moz did a better job of pulling historical keyword data (tracking rankings BEFORE you enter them into Moz).

Capterra ★★★★★A complete tool to monitor and improve the SEO strategy for your projects.
Pros: What I like the most is that is pretty easy to use. I've been using it for a year and my experience is quite good so far because it offers lots of functionalities and it adapts well to different projects. It offers lots of Keywords indicators that allow you to take better decisions. It also gives you advice, new ideas and ways to improve the SEO with keywords. Moz is also really useful analyzing your competitors because it tells you how strong are your domain and your website, based on numerous parameters. Cons: Pricing is a bit expensive. It's not very accurate in terms of your rank. I mean, it doesn't tell you the exact number where you are in the search results, it only tells you the range where you belong. It also has limitations on the number of competitors it allows you to compare. This depends on the pricing. It doesn't give you immediate feedback on the changes that you make, you have to wait at least one week to check the results.

I'm an SEO export and I've been using Yext for about 4 years. We use it for our franchisee clients that don't want to pay for premium services like Yext. Pros: Price. You can easily sync any updates for your business with Moz Local. The platform is very simple and straight forward. I would recommend this tool for business owners with a small budget. Pros: There are some good tools and features that help you to improve your SEO. The metrics are very helpful and easy to understand. The user interface is fairly easy to navigate. Their support and knowledge base is very good and can teach you a lot about SEO and how to rank better. Cons: I don't feel that Moz is quite as helpful to use as the likes of Ahrefs. Capterra ★★★★★Good software for SEOs but not the best
Pros: I really like the new Link Explorer Moz has just released, especially since much of it is available to free users. Another great feature is showing you which of your keywords can qualify for rich snippets knowledge graph, etc. In Google. They have the ability to track keyword history which is very useful and compare that to your competitors to see where you are lacking. Cons: While the software is good, I don't think it warrants the price tag. I would rather pay less for less features. Many of the features in Moz, I simply don't need. I also think their interface is boring and not very intuitive.

As I said before, it pretty much has everything an internet marketer needs in their kit for client analysis. This belongs in your kit. Pros: They have a lot of features wrapped up together like rank report, site analysis, competitor tracking, and backlink analysis. Cons: The price can get pretty high as you add on more sites to track. It would also be nice to be able to split up your billing so you could apply X amount to one card and X amount to another. Moz is easy to use and has been great for allowing our in-house content team to quickly perform simple keyword research. Pros: Moz Pro has a more intuitive & user-friendly interface than other SEO tools and is a great option for an in-house team of mid-level SEOs - people who aren't necessarily looking to dive deeply into the super nitty-gritty stuff. Cons: The estimated keyword volumes seem to be much lower than those reported by the other tools we use. The number of ranking keywords also seems to be less than what other tools report for many URLs.

As discussed above, Keyword Explorer is my favorite of all its features. My contents backed with the keywords researched by employing this tool has really helped me rank my page. Furthermore, the suggestions advanced by Moz coupled with SERP analysis serves as a complete package to inspect the performance of my work. Pros: Moz Pro is not only a software, but also a self-performance examination tool, which has given me some commendable insights into my content. Moreover, its special feature- Keyword Explorer has been working wonders for me. Being a content writer, it helps me stay connected to the identical pertinence and structure, to each content that I draft. Cons: On a bigger front, I really cannot fish for any cons for Moz Pro. Capterra ★★★★★Perfect for small businesses, not for power users
Pros: Part of what I like about the software is what I like about the organization behind the software: They're very thoughtful and scientific about each feature they add. There's a robust set of tools around keyword research and link analysis--the basis for any SEO campaign. There's enough utility here in a nicely-presented package to be helpful--and not overwhelming--to orgs that want to get smarter about their SEO game. Cons: Moz is great for the basics, but power users are going to find a lot missing. For example, their link index is much smaller than the ones in ahrefs or Majestic, and anecdotally I've found that their keyword data contains much less search volume information than competitors, as well.

Main benefit would probably be its blog; it has taught me almost anything I needed to know about SEO, growth hacking and ASO. Pros: Wow...this tool has so many features, I wouldn't even know where to start. A really great tool for competitor analysis, complementary keyword research and overall lessons about growth hacking. Cons: The main trouble IMHO is the price; there are other options out there, from SEMRush to ZEFO, and in my home country, ZEFO is the undisputed king and the prices are just better. Pros: Moz Pro a comprehensive SEO software suite with several SEO functionalities in one web-based tool. Moz Pro has a visually-pleasing, non-intimidating design different from the more compact interfaces of other SEO tools (SEMrush*, Ahrefs, Majestic SEO or Raventools). Two strong points are Open Site Explorer and Keyword Explorer, which address the core issues of SEO well Another important factor of MOZ it the fact it has the strongest community behind of any SEO tool, compared to SEMrush*, Ahrefs, Majestic SEO or Raventools. Overall Moz helped us to keep track of various website ranks and was a useful tool in KW research and analysis. Pros: Moz is just an authority... it's where I started my SEO journey, as did many other marketers. I like the rank tracking feature and backlink reporting Cons: It's Google only, which isn't the end of the world considering, well... Google! But when their competitors have more data, I've got to count it against them.

Pros: We like content suggestion and keyword research tools provided by MOZ, easy to navigate and use with advanced tools also available. Cons: Keyword accuracy for international databases could be improved with additional lead generation tools could be added, as competitors are doing.

Capterra ★★★★★One of the Simpler SEO Tools
I've used Moz as well as ahrefs, Majestic, and SEMRush. Moz has one of the cleanest dashboards and offers simplicity. That said, it's too simple for some of my advanced projects. I prefer the backlink database of ahrefs and the audit tools of SEMRush so it's hard for me to justify the monthly subscription cost. Pros: Moz is pretty easy to use. The UI is nicely designed and they have most of the tools you need to improve your SEO Cons: Backlink tools are lacking. Capterra ★★★★★Extremely expensive, not a viable choice for a smaller business
Excellent onsite SEO insights at a high level. Making use of these insights, however, calls for a higher level of SEO understanding than many people might have. For those doing SEO professionally however it probably is the gold standard. Pros: It is very full featured and can potentially offer many insights. Many of them, however, may be more than many users actually really need. However, for a deep dive into a site's SEO is probably is the premiere offering of its type Cons: There may be too many options in the pro version of the software and unless you are already very adept at SEO following some of the recommendations made can have a negative impact, the complete opposite of what people look to this software/service to do.

Capterra ★★★★★Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tool with basic features
Pros: I've tried various SEO-related tools, as part of my work as a content marketing practitioner. Moz can be integrated into the browser as an extension, which makes it easy to use on-demand. I particularly use it to expose 'no-follow' links on Web pages. This is very helpful when considering the application of backlinks via publishing on sites that enable content syndication. The 'free' MozBar will meet the basic needs of most novice or experienced digital marketers, but the 'paid' version offers many more features. Cons: The tool sometime needs to use browser features that may be turned-off by default - such as 3rd party cookies in the Chrome browser. The user interface is okay for many users, but will require some investment in time.

Capterra ★★★★★Not a fully robust SEO monitoring system for the cost.
Pros: Moz is amazing for keywords and categories. It helps you check to see whether your visibility in search is showcased, so you can optimize the items that are low performing. The traffic and backlink analysis are great for research, and I love that you can check some of your competitors as well to see where you may be falling flat. Cons: Unfortunately the reporting isn't as good as it could be. A lot of the chart systems can't be used, and you can't export most as PDFs, which is what I tend to use most often. The PDFs you can export, though, have great drag and drop features to customize the reports how you want them. The updates haven't kept up with their competitors, so if you're looking for only one product to use, Moz likely won't fill all your needs. You can find more robust systems at half the cost of Moz, saving you money and time.

Capterra ★★★★★Big name, great content, dashboard difficult to use at times
Pros: The customer support is really good. These guys are always super helpful and thorough. Moz has practically invented the SEO space and always has great content (Whiteboard Fridays, Moz Top-10, Beginners Guide to SEO). Cons: I find the interface and dashboard difficult to use. I find myself spending a lot of time looking for simple info. Other times, I'm left wanting more. It seems like many features of Moz Pro were built separately and haven't really been fused together in a way that's efficient to track data.

Capterra ★★★★★Mixed, at best. Frustrating at worst.
When our requirements were very, very basic it did the job fine. Pros: Nice to use, reasonably easy to use and setup also. Provides some useful tips along the way and although the support staff invariably provide inept responses and don't really appear to know much about their own software, they do respond and at least appear to te trying to help. Cons: That it produces very inaccurate results, is ridiculously hard to decipher which time period it's results relate to and that producing custom reports on Chrome is about as frustrating as it gets because their developers can't seem to remove their Chrome related bugs.

Capterra ★★★★★Mediocre high-priced SEO Software
I still refer to MozPro for Domain Rank scores where clients want to know, but other than that it's totally unnecessary if you have other superior SEO software installed. Pros: This software is the only software that gives me the widely referred to 'domain rank' - an invention of Moz but widely regarded as a benchmark score. Cons: A bit US-centred, not good for UK; not half as good as SEO PowerSuite, a bit old school - more links than anything else, and not massively user friendly, and very high priced for what you get.

Capterra ★★★★★Not what they once were!
I recently signed back up with Moz, and wasn't very impressed. They used to be the most powerful SEO tool. Not only are they not as easy to use as their competitors now, but the tools just aren't as good. After fixing issues, there isn't a way to get MOZ to re-analyze your entire site. You have to wait a few days. That's just how it seems to me now. I just can't get much done very fast. Pros: They still do have a lot of the most powerful tools for analyzing links, etc. Cons: Clunky compared to Woorank and Raven.

Capterra ★★★★★Never found the subscription quite worth it
Pros: I did like the quick ability to see how your local citations line up, get a quick score, see how those are doing. Cons: The backlink checker was not good. Very much not thorough. The keyword ranking and research only let you track a little and then became way to expensive, making it make more sense to just get a software dedicated to rank tracking. Never found the other tools terribly useful.

Capterra ★★★★★Useful, but best for custom solutions
Pros: I inherited this software from a previous user at our organization who set it up for our business goals several years earlier, and though I found many of Moz Pro's features interesting, it was difficult to understand how to retool or customize the software for our current business goals in relation to page ranking, Page/Domain Authority scores, and organic traffic analytics. Cons: It was difficult to use and hard to understand exactly how all the features throughout the software worked without extensive tutorials provided by Moz that didn't always help with application but rather more theoretical applications of the software.

Capterra ★★★★★Solid product but not the best out there.
Pros: Offered a nice variety of tools but ultimately there are many competitors I found to have more accurate results and better pricing. Cons: Just not enough bang for the buck. Ahrefs and Screaming Frog are both worth more for the money. The real value of any them is debatable, at this point, considering the numerous changes within algorithm factors.

Pros: It makes it easy to track certain keywords, and is great for a marketing team that doesn't have the resources to make a simple script to track keywords in-house. Cons: Keyword volume estimates seemed off in many instances, and would change rapidly within a close span of time. Seems pricey for what it does.

Capterra ★★★★★Builds some links and creates citations
Moz would work well for a small business that doesn't have any SEO or marketing team members. It automates some of the work, though it seems pricey. Pros: Moz Local centralizes a lot of the work and automates some of the copying and pasting. Cons: The cost seems too high for what the service provides, the UI was difficult to use until a recent redesign, and there haven't been any noticeable changes in our rankings.

MOZ Pro is one of a set of tools I use on a daily basis to provide a holistic view of the websites I optimize. MOZ is a key part of that tool set. Pros: I really like being able to quickly assess on-page SEO with the On-Page Grader tool. Moz Local was a great solution for what we needed at the time. But there are competitors with more powerful products. There are times when I wish we went back to using MOZ Pro, but it was simply too expensive. Pros: I liked Moz Pro because of how easy it is to sort keywords based on volume, ranking, etc. If I want to change up my SEO strategy, MOZ Pro makes it easy for me to do that. Cons: The cost. Pros: Moz is an industry leader when it comes to SEO and their software is certainly very good and offers a lot of features. There is a large online community and the support is excellent. MOZ is ok for ad hoc SEO analysis and seems to be aimed at a casual user. However, SEMRush and Ahrefs are more rounded and feature rich products for a similar cost. Pros: Backlink analysis feature is solid. On page grader feature may be helpful for novice search engine optimizers. Cons: Keyword research feature is useless for search terms with lower search volume and overall is way behind SEMRush or Ubersuggest.

My overall experience with Moz local is bad. I will not use it again. Pros: Moz local at $100 per year iis overpriced in my opinion. I've found a cheaper alternative, BrightLocal that does the same thing for a lower price. When I went to cancel my account, I found that Moz has hidden the "cancel" button somewere. I read the FAQ article that says "Click Continue with cancellation" but this link does not exist. I am unhappy with the service and even more unhappy that Moz has made it impossible to cancel their service without reaching out to them. I think this is an unethical business practice.
