Moz Local reviewers on G2 like how it pushes one set of business details to many directories at a fair price. The critical ones say listing updates took weeks or months to appear and that cancelling was hard.

Moz Local Is Amazing

What they like: We joined 7 business areas to test it out. To keep the test legit, we're not doing some other work on them. Following 5 weeks in the program all postings enhanced, yet not all sites and databases made strides. New postings were made and information was included and adjusted existing profiles. Moz Local is fantastic when trying to get accurate and complete syndication through Localeze. It also beats the nightmare that is Yahoo Local, justifies the Moz Local price. What they dislike: It does take quite a bit of time to see the results of having your business on Moz. While this is not their fault but rather the way search is. I also would prefer to see EVERY single listing my site is on. i would also like to have better reporting on these programs as well. When clients are using this they want to be able to see the growth overall for their account and there is no way to download a PDF or another form to show them this information

Easy to use for keyword traffic

What they like: I've been trusting the Moz brand now for over 1 year at work. I find their products and Whiteboard Fridays with Ran to be very useful when conducting keyword research and doing local citation building. I am a current ongoing customer of Moz Local and use it to help boost citations and local listings for my clients. In the past year, they recently made changes to their dashboard and how you upload your business information. The portal used to be very confusing and had minimal fields to fill out and submit. What I like now about Moz Local is being able to track my clients' updated local SEO scores and find NAP inconsistencies across well-known aggregators and other trusted listing sites. They now have better options to upload images, content, and reporting tools within ML to help track their progress. What they dislike: I find Yext local white label for agencies with a big budget to be much better than ML however since MOZ focuses more on SEO and is known in the industry to be a good source of content, I stick to Moz local to help boost my local citations for my clients. Switched From: Yext

Affordable and easy to use Local SEO tool

What they like: There are so many directories that you have to align to get good local SEO results, and MOZ local does most of the work for you. It is a much more inexpensive option than Yext (which seems to have some sort of unholy alliance going on with some directories like SuperPages) and either automatically updates listings for your or tells you where you need to establish/update an account. MOZ Local also offers an option to push changes directly to Foursquare and Google My Business, which is useful. What they dislike: Some of the updates take an extremely long period of time to be made via MOZ Local. Sometimes, I'd get impatient and do them myself. Some never seem to get updated, but overall, it does a pretty good job. Also, it doesn't always do the best job in identifying duplicate accounts. Their customer service is also not great. If you're confused in using it, you may get lost and stay lost.

MOZ is easy to use tool for Local SEO

What they like: There are so many directories that you have to line up to obtain good local SEO results, and MOZ local does a lot of the work for you. It is just a much more inexpensive choice. Moz Local is easy to work, you merely enter your correct specifics and indeed it applies it into a whole lot on the primary internet directories. It normally aids you in rank far better in Local web search without not drastically work is needed. What they dislike: With Moz's charges and yearly strategy, it really is extremely very clear that should you be employing these to update get in touch with specifics around diverse internet site places, it will vanish within the celebration you have away from using Moz. Quite simply, seems like we have been really caught in.

Affordable and simple to use Local Search engine optimization tool

What they like: There are plenty of directories you need to align to obtain good local Search engine optimization results, and MOZ local does the majority of the meet your needs. It's a lot more affordable option than Yext (which appears to possess some kind of unholy alliance happening with a few directories like SuperPages) and only instantly updates listings for the or informs you where you have to establish/update a free account. What they dislike: A few of the updates take an very lengthy time period to make via MOZ Local. Sometimes, I'd get impatient and do them myself. Some never appear to obtain updated, but overall, it will an excellent job. Also, it does not always perform the best job in identifying duplicate accounts. Their customer support can also be not great. If you are confused in making use of it, you might get lost and remain lost.

Moz Local

What they like: What I like best about Moz Local is how clear the information actually is, once you get used to how the site works. There is so much data you can gain from utilizing Moz. It's so beneficial to actually review how a website is ranking (as well as keywords). Moz is an extremely powerful tool. What they dislike: What I disliked about this site, was in the beginning I did have some trouble navigating the site itself (meaning within our account). Once I was used to the site, it did become easy and quick for me to use, though it just felt a little overwhelming in the very beginning. This is not a negative thing about Moz Local, there is just so much you can actually do with this platform, it's a lot to take in (Especially if you're trying to review multiple and different sites and their ranking).

A Great First Step for Local LinkBuilding

What they like: It's a very easy to use initial linkbuilding platform. You can add the basic necessary info and customize the listing further with different categories, photos, videos, and information about our services. You'll start linkbuilding with great directories including HotFrog and ShowMeLocal. What's even better is that it will update all of its listings based on the information you had initially provided or updated it with. Just keep that in mind if you're using custom tracking tags in your GMB listings. What they dislike: The quantity of available links leave a lot to be desired. It's almost a 'you get what you pay for' scenario as Moz Local is one of the cheaper alternatives to linkbuilding subscriptions. Other listings like WhiteSpark and Yext offer their own unique listings. It's something you should keep in mind before you agree to paying for a Moz Local subscription. Inspect the directories Moz Local links to and decide if they suit your business.

Moz Local Review Simple and Easy To Use

What they like: Simplistic dashboard and ease of use. Weekly reports are very beneficial. Customer service is top notch and they respond almost immediately to any inquiry. Not to mention the follow up from the team is impeccable. The dashboard displays results in a very visual way which eliminates the need to deep complex reading and understanding. During setup it will ask you a series of questions and by doing this it makes it super easy to get started. Once you enter in the information the dashboard does the work for you. After the initial setup it is more about just keeping an eye on the status update of each network and then troubleshooting as you go. What they dislike: Some sources within the network never get updated. While this isn't an issue per say with the software, I would recommend Moz to dig deeper into their relationships to work on improving this. Getting started with this takes some time. Some of the networks update immediately and others can take weeks if not longer. In rare cases I have some take months before they update. Some networks never update. Updating local directories is critical. It would nice to see the networks to be expanded as another competitor is larger than what Moz's product is.

Moz Local has helped my business tremendously!

What they like: It is easy to use, you basically just input all of your correct information and it puts it out to most of the major directories. It basically assists you in ranking better in local search results for a very reasonable price, and not much work is involved. What they dislike: Nothing really, except that the changes and improvements do take some time to notice. If you sign up with Moz Local, your Local SEO isn't going to improve over night, but it will certainly improve over 6 months to a year.

Powerful local SEO platform

What they like: Local SEO analytics is pretty accurate and help a lot with local marketing. Listing management is a great features, helps to distribute data in fast and effective way. What they dislike: I do not like the pricing. Plans start with $99 per year. It would be better if they had a free plan with less feature, because it would allow users to feel the tool before paying for it.

Excellent product for local SEO

What they like: it's the easiest way to update addresses and info. i first heard about it when the company i was working for was moving and a friend told me about it. the program worked like a charm in updating our new business info across the web. it also helped us update metadata and imagery across existing listings, which definitely helped us see a bit of a spike in local traffic. What they dislike: There were a handful of sites where the updates weren't in place immediately, which was frustrating. But on the whole, for our project, it was definitely the right fit.

Excellent service for consolidating and updating local listings.

What they like: Being able to see at a glance where our listings have been updated has been very helpful. Also the suggestions as to what can make the local listing perform better. What they dislike: Newest version make support a little harder (no longer able to chat) and it doesn't catch duplicate names as the older version said it did. Billing interface is sometimes flaky and leaves something to be desired. Wish there was an API to access for listing management.
